Engineer Silvio Valloni

Born in Busto Arsizio (Varese) in 1970, with a degree in Civil Engineering at the Politecnico in Milan and listed in the Register of Engineers of Milan under the number A23203, Silvio Valloni has gained, during his work activity, significant experience in calculations regarding the structure design and supervision of works for civil, residential and tertiary buildings. From the year 2000 Silvio attended F.lli Presenti a school that specialises in reinforced concrete at the Politecnico of Milan and successfully obtained a diploma in 2003. From 2003 to 2008 he worked for the engineering firm Pereira as a calculator/designer for structural works, participating in the project drafting of the extension of the facilities of the University Luigi Bocconi in Milan (Bocconi Lotto 2), the new Mediapolis hotel (today NH Hotel) in Sesto san Giovanni, the new housing of University Bocconi in Buzzi street in Milan (architectural design by Avenue Architects) and again for the same University, the new student housing in Isonzo street in Milan designed by Costa Zanibelli Associati. From 2008 till today Silvio Valloni has worked as a freelance structural Engineer and consultant in the structural field for important design studios and construction companies. Among the important collection of works of his design in progress currently being developed, is the structures of the new Bocconi Campus (International competition won by Sanaa architects of Tokyo) carried out for the engineering firm Pereira. Since 2009 Silvio Valloni has been a structural consultant for Bureau Veritas Italia in the field of technical control and validation of structural projects. Among the main validated projects is the structural project of Eni’s new offices in San Donato Milanese. As of 2016 Silvio Valloni is partner of CSA studio.
